Here’s a hopefully finally working video comparing our 3 pet buffalo leeches as newly hatched babies (never fed) and as one-year adults.

Other people have gotten theirs to grow 2-3 times this large on a diet of their own blood, but we feed them congealed animal blood from a meat market.

I also just put the buffalo leeches in a real fish tank with gravel (they’ve grown for a year in just a big jar!) and they immediately started burrowing, they should have had some rocks all along :(
